So I had the spontaneous idea to go behind the camera for once. I was doing a boudoir session for a friend so I just asked if she would want to take some of me!
Not really prepared…no make up and hair done (at least it was washed!) and I had 1 bodysuit and a jumper with me at the time and borrowed my friends heels, but that's all I needed!
So glad I did this…as a mum I don’t always feel sexy anymore, being tired and busy trying to do a million things at the same time, taking care of yourself is last priority sometimes.
Doing this photo session was so much fun, liberating and empowering and I keep looking back at my photos thinking ‘wow cant believe that’s me’ and ‘my legs look pretty good!’ haha.
I made me feel great! So great that I didn’t even care about my parking fine of $561
I got after the shoot (true story) ……ok I might have let out a couple of swear words..
And it made me even feel better because this is why I am doing this, making other woman feel good about themselves! I want them to look at their photos thinking ‘Yeah I am beautiful/sexy/hot!’.
If you ever think of doing anything like this all I can say is just do it. You won’t regret it!
I understand you might be a bit nervous, but we will put some music on and have a laugh at the silly poses together and it will be a fun day. And you will walk away with some amazing photos of yourself which you will be able to look back at in 30 / 40 /50 years to come with a big smile on your face and glad you did it!
Here a few images of my quick session I wanted to share (some images only for my man to see ;) )and I will definitely have another one done (with make up and hair)! One thing about doing a boudoir session, it’s addictive haha. You will want to do it again!
Last week I had a ball! For 4 days I had a stall at Sexpo Australia at the International Convention Centre in Sydney and what an amazing experience. It was so lovely meeting all these gorgeous woman interested in doing a Boudoir photo session! And as well meeting some very talented fellow photographers.
Again thank you all for visiting my stall and hopefully I will be able to take some beautiful photos of you one day.
